a university project, for this we were asked to choose an object from the v&a museum’s collection and reimagine in a new context completely unrelated to it’s original use - the object i chose was a snuff grater and inspired by the past collaboration between raf simons and dr martens i came up with the concept for an extended collaboration between the three brand where the texture/surface of the snuff grater would be the toe of the shoe underneath the material of the shoes rather than metal toe caps - the poster below was created as a means to advertise this concept if it were a real product:
